Today, I went to a place in Permy Jaya to volunteer my time and effort for recycling. I was the second youngest person there. Almost 99% of the volunteer there are already middle aged or arriving there soon.
Most of them have kids themselves and one of them were talking about how she has to give her youngest daughter RM300 every month to supplement her schooling expenses and she only earns around RM400 per month as a chef.
And this auntie were complaining about how her finger joint hurts and another auntie expressed the same pain. It was one of the major eye opener experience for me because for most of the time, I'm surrounded by middle, above middle and rich people and RM300 to them is peanuts. I could spend RM300 in a blink of an eye. And yet here they are, volunteering their time to help conserve earth's resources.
My parent always tell me that it's because my life is too good that when the littlest thing goes wrong in my life, I will sink into depression. Which I admit is true. Compare to previous generations, youngsters today don't take setbacks or failures really well. We are not as resilient as our ancestors and we are more concern about materialistic wealth.
Another uncle told me about a person they visit regularly. Person A had his intestines removed when he was only three years old because it didn't work properly and the doctor told him he couldn't work because if he works, it will worsen his condition. But Person A didn't have anyone to take care of him nor give him money for food so he has to work in order to survive. What's even worse is his current job is in construction.
For Person A, the situation is really damn if you do and damn if you don't.
It really made me think that what I have is really good. It's better than good. :)
I'm feeling really lost right now. But I have come to accept that it is alright to be lost once in a while. It's life's way of nudging you softly to remind you to take a breather and reexamine whether you're heading in the right direction.
When you're feeling lost, it's best not to seek for answers although it is extremely tempting to do so. Just embrace the feeling of being lost, of being absolutely terrified and love yourself for what you are right now - a beautiful wondrous mess.
You don't have to do anything. Well you can do something like meditate, eat (but don't overeat) and just bathe in the sunlight. Let the gentle waves of life carry you to the path that you seek. Everything is okay. =)
Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue.
Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them.
And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.

Rainer Marie Rilke
You are joy, looking for a way to express. It’s not just that your purpose is joy, it is that you are joy. You are love and joy and freedom and clarity expressing. Energy — frolicking and eager — that’s who you are. And so, if you’re always reaching for alignment with that, you’re always on your path, and your path will take you into all kinds of places. We will not deny that you will not discover miracles and create benefits and be involved in creation, and that you will not uplift humanity…we will not say that you will not find satisfaction in so many things that you create, but we can’t get away from the acknowledgment that you are Pure Positive Energy that translates into the human emotion of joy.

Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.
I will greet this day with love in my heart.
And how will I do this?
Henceforth will I look on all things with love and be born again.
I will love the sun for it warms my bones; yet I will love the rain for it cleanses my spirit. I will love the light for it shows me the way; yet I will love the darkness for it shows me the stars. I will welcome happiness as it enlarges my heart; yet I will endure sadness for it opens my soul.
I will acknowledge rewards for they are my due; yet I will welcome obstacles for they are my challenge. .
Things don't go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all that you were intended to be.

Someone asked the Dalai Lama what surprises him most.
This was his response.
"Man, because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really live."
"Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse. "It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but really loves you, then you become Real."
"Does it hurt?" asked the Rabbit.
"Sometimes," said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. "When you are Real, you don't mind being hurt."
"Does it happen all at once, like being wound up," he asked, "or bit by bit?"
"It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't often happen to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out, and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real, you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."
I love the drawing style.
Confident without being cocky.
Confident without being stubborn.
Confident without alienating others.
Confident even in the face of uncertainties.
Confident by accepting your flaws and imperfections.
Hoo boy, this is one virtue that will take time.
When people tell me I'm weird or abnormal,
I would smile at them and say:"
Thank you. That is one lovely compliment."
I wanna take a measuring stick and measure every inch of your body. <3
I can't wait to go home! =D
Happiness is now.
To infinity and beyond!
I am a strong woman.
The unreal is more powerful than the real.
Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it.
Because its only tangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last.
Stone crumbles.
Wood rots.
People, well, they die.
But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.
If you can change the way people think.
The way they see themselves.
The way they see the world.
You can change the way people live their lives.
That's the only lasting thing you can create.
- Chuck Palahniuk from Choke
99% of the time we already have the answer deep inside of us.
Just that we don't have the courage to face it or follow it through with action.
I need this in my keyboard since I really use the love symbol a lot!
Someone please make it happen. :P
To me, a really successful person is someone who can inspire other people to become the best of themselves, who can unite everyone to change the world for the better, who is not afraid to be him or herself and who can stand up stronger than ever before after each heartbreaking failure.
Give me all your fears, insecurities and hurts.
Tell me your secrets.

Thank you to A for making me realize that my dark side is very nice and that life is good no matter what. =D
Everything is ok.
I really love ya
Oh you know that I do
I love you
That's how you feel
And I cant do nothing at all won't stop you
CHORUS
You have to know that
I'll be your right
Whether you love me you're not
I'll be alright
A thousand knives
Oh they cut my heart, my heart
But I won't never show you the scar you give me
Deep down I want you to stay
I guess I have to let go
And say
CHORUS
You have to know that
I'll be your right
Whether you love me you're not
I'll be alright
Fall turn this brave
I spread my wings and be alright
Is that where we stand
Lovers to friends
I'll be alright
CHORUS
You have to know that
I'll be your right
Whether you love me you're not
I'll be alright
This picture reminds me of a conversation I had with H and K.
I told them exactly the same thing when they asked me whether I want to be with L.
They laughed and said:"我们没有到这么高的境界."
The part of me that wants to be with L is love talking.
The part of me that doesn't want to be with L is fear talking.
In the last two weeks, fear's voice was louder that love's voice.
But I'm slowly working myself back to love's grace and I'm happy to say I'm making steady progress. <3
I am grateful and thankful. =)
I am also grateful and thankful for all the wonderful people who act as my guidance during trying times.
Looks like my kitty who ran away again.
Cute and innocent.
I believe you will find your way back to us again, nuomi.
Only I can live this life for I am unique.
Thankful for the chance to be born as me.
I have always been told that my smile is special, lovely and can light up the world.
Maybe it's time to start believing?
Be kind to yourself.
Know that you are enough.
Only then you can extend the kindness to those around you.
My love for cat is endless. <3 <3 <3
Haha, yes I can definitely relate to this!
Great ideas are just that - great ideas, unless actions follow.
I heart brainstorming!
Everybody came into your life for a reason and that reason is to make you become the best "you".
Thank them for all the joy, sadness and pain.
Forgive yourself and forgive them.
This is why I love literature.
Thank you for everything, my love. =)
Too cute to eat.
You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly. - Sam Keen
